20 June - 10am (AEST) -  Apostle Bunda Chibwe with Malcolm Stephenson presiding

Bunda C. Chibwe is a member of the Council of Twelve Apostles, the lead missionary quorum of Community of Christ. He is assigned to the Central and West Africa Mission Field and to the South-Central Asia Mission Field.

He previously served as president of the Sixth Quorum of Seventy; Africa Region associate administrator for Zambia, Malawi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo; and treasurer and president of the Zambia National Church.

A native of Lubunda, Zambia, Bunda earned a graduat in theology from the Kananga School of Theology, Zaire (Democratic Republic of the Congo); and completed a program in elementary education administration from the University of Zaire, Lumbumashi. He received a master of arts in religion from Park University, Parkville, Missouri. He is fluent in seven African languages, as well as English and French, and is certified to teach French and Kiswahili.

Bunda was also an elementary school headmaster in the Zaire National Education System.

18 July - 10am (AEST) - David Brock (past Presiding Evangelist) with Lisa  Yen presiding

David R. Brock is the retired Presiding Evangelist for Community of Christ. He was ordained as president of seventy in 1988 and as an apostle in 1992. 

His past assignments include the Pacific Mission Field, Southwest USA Mission Field, North Central USA Mission Field, administrator and stewardship commissioner of the Africa Region, assistant to the Council of Twelve, and Southwest Region staff member.

A native of Kansas City, Kansas, he graduated from Meridian High School in Idaho, attended Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, received a bachelor of science from the University of Oregon, and a master of arts in religion from Park University, Parkville, Missouri. David has done further studies at the Instituto de Filogía Hispánica, Saltillo, Mexico; Alliance Française, Nairobi, Kenya; Berlitz Language School, St. Louis, Missouri; Saint Paul School of Theology and the Nazarene Theological Seminary, both in Kansas City, Missouri; Haden Institute (spiritual direction certification), Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; and the Center for Creative Leadership, Greensboro, North Carolina.

15 August - 10am (AEST) - Ken McLaughlin (previous Apostle to Australia) with Malcolm Stephenson presiding

Ken McLaughlin is a native of Ohio, USA, and a graduate of Ohio State University (BSEd and JD) as well as Park University (MAR). He has been a high school history teacher, Assistant Attorney General of Ohio, a full-time minister with Community of Christ, and in retirement, a development officer with Outreach International. Ken has also been the Chief Operating Officer of the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. Currently in retirement, he does executive coaching, but enjoys even more serving as a substitute teacher for grades K-3. Ken has served the church in many local leadership positions, as regional (mission center) president and financial officer, assistant legal counsel, and in the Council of Twelve Apostles for ten years. He is now lead pastor of the Walnut Gardens Congregation in Independence. Ken and his wife of 44 years, Sue, live in Lee’s Summit Missouri. 

19 September  - 10am (AEST) - Janne Grover with Kass Unger presiding

Janné Grover is a member of the Council of Twelve Apostles, the lead missionary quorum of Community of Christ. She is assigned to the Central USA Mission Field. She is also director of Formation Ministries.

Her previous employment includes disciple formation ministries specialist for Community of Christ, and director of orchestras for Lee’s Summit North High School and Bernard Campbell Middle School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Janné attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in vocal and instrumental music K–12. She also received a Master’s of Music Education degree in instrumental conducting from Florida State University, an Education Specialist degree in secondary administration from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Master’s of Arts in Religion from Graceland University.

Janné and her husband, Kevin, live in Lee’s Summit, MO with their three children, Zach (21), Dillon (19), and Caitlin (16). Zach and Dillon attend Graceland University and Caitlin is a junior at the high school where Kevin serves as an administrator.

17 October  - 10am (AEDT) - Mark Euritt with Lisa  Yen presiding

Mark Euritt, a minister for Community of Christ, currently serves as field bishop for the Pacifikasia Mission Field and South-Central Asia Mission Field, as well as mission center financial officer for the East Asia Mission Center.

Mark has served as an assistant to the Presiding Bishopric. He also has been apostolic assistant for the Asia Mission Field and the Caribbean and Mexico Mission Field, president of the Caribbean Mission Center, Coastal Bend USA, and Heart of Texas USA mission centers, financial officer for the East Asia Mission Center, Caribbean Mission Center, Coastal Bend USA Mission Center; administrator and stewardship commissioner for the Gulf States Region; and congregational support minister for the Southwest Region.

Born in Independence, Missouri, Mark received a bachelor of science degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville; a master of business administration and a master of public affairs from the University of Texas at Austin; and a master of arts in religion from Park College, Parkville, Missouri.

Mark was a research scientist for the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Texas at Austin and was an international transportation policy consultant.

Mark is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, and has taught courses for church programs. He has written for the Power and Light series, Restoration Studies VIII, and the Herald.

Mark is married to Julie Webb and together they have two daughters Carolyne (married to Gary Castner) and Camille. Carolyne and Gary parent Gary’s daughter Heather. Mark and Julie reside in Austin, Texas, USA.

21 November  - 10am (AEDT) - Stassi Cramm with Candice Unger presiding

Stassi D. Cramm serves as a member of the First Presidency of Community of Christ and counselor to the president of the church. She also serves as the presiding bishop of the Presiding Bishopric, the highest financial council of the church.

Her past assignments include serving as a member of the Council of Twelve Apostles, a member of the Presiding Bishopric as a counselor to the presiding bishop, and the Southwest Pacific Region administrator and stewardship commissioner.

Stassi received a bachelor of science in general engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and a master of arts in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. She received a master of arts in religion from Graceland University and a PhD in organization and management from Capella University. Previous to full-time ministry for Community of Christ, Stassi was employed as a flight test engineer for the United States Air Force.

Stassi and her husband, Stephen currently live a tale of two cities: They have a home in St. Charles, MO, near Stassi’s parents and a home near the Temple in Independence, MO. Steve is semi-retired but stays busy providing engineering consulting to various organizations. They have two adult children and a son-in-law. Shannon, the oldest, and her husband Kevin live in Boston, MA. Kevin is a packaging engineer and Shannon is a surgical resident and research fellow at Massachusetts General and Boston Children’s Hospitals. Spencer lives in Tokyo, Japan with his dog Emi and is a software development engineer.

Guest Speaker: Mareva M. Arnaud Tchong was ordained as an apostle and member of the Council of Twelve Apostles at the 2013 World Conference. She is assigned to the Pacifikasia Mission Field, which includes the Australia Mission Centre, East Asia Mission Centre, French Polynesia Mission Centre, Pacific Islands Mission Centre, and the Philippines Mission Centre.

Her previous assignments in French Polynesia include conflict resolution ministry, serving as director for Pastoral School (Temple School) and counselor to the mission center president. Mareva also has served as financial officer and president of the French Polynesia Mission Centre and was counselor to the president of the Quorum of High Priests.

A native of Tahiti, French Polynesia, Mareva has traveled extensively.
