Beloved Family and People of Faith, Australia Community of Christ

I take up my pen today to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for the great spirit of devotion to Christ’s mission, of openness to God’s call and for the huge financial contribution you have made to support our mission as Christ’s disciples. Your reflections, sharing, actions and the decisions taken during the June 2023 mission Center Conference have a significant impact in our community and beyond, and I want to thank you, each one, all, members, friends, from children to oldest, leaders, priesthood members, from the bottom of my heart on behalf of all those whose lives are touched by your commitment.

The financial support you shared is not limited to a simple monetary contribution. It represents an act of faith, a sacrifice of love, a response of trust in God’s promises that allows us to continue the mission of Christ in the World. Through such generosity, we are able to bring hope, compassion and healing to those in need, to reach out to the most vulnerable and to spread the good news of divine love. Your thoughts, your actions, your financial donations have a real impact in our church and in the community. They allow us to maintain and improve different programs, support our ministries, provide pastoral and spiritual support to members of our community, and be a positive force in society.

However, it is important to emphasize that your contribution is not limited to material aspects only. Your faithful active participation in various church and community activities, and your mutual support for one another are also living testimonies of your commitment to our common mission. Your generosity inspires others to become more involved. It creates an environment where love, solidarity, hope and peace are the fundamental values that guide us in our spiritual journey.

Together we are a united family that seeks to make a difference in the World by imitating the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

On behalf of the church and of all the people whose lives you have touched and will continue to transform, I thank you once again for your ministry of faith, love and generosity.

May God bless you abundantly and multiply your thanksgiving.
