On the weekend 18-19 June, the Australia Mission is hosting a Peace Summit event in Newcastle NSW.

As part of this event, the special mission conference session is planned to run on Sunday 19 June.

IMPORTANT: All delegates* must register to attend the conference in-person or on-line. Whether you plan to attend the whole weekend (and we hope you do!) or just the conference sessions on the Sunday you need to register so we can keep you in the loop with all that's on - get in quick for early-bird pricing!

*The delegate credential list will be published in the conference booklet and available on the website ahead of the Peace Summit weekend.

Congregation delegates will need to be elected at a congregational business meeting (for the Conference session only – anyone can participate in the other Peace Summit sessions), even if they plan to join the conference online – this is for the purposes of credential validation in the process of voting on motions put to the conference at the business meeting. i.e. only delegates will be able to vote on motions at the conference.

Ex-officio delegates do not need to be nominated by a congregation or body – they can advise their attendance at the conference and participate in voting on the back of the office or role they hold.

The following are authorised as Ex-officio delegates: Pastors, World Church Ministers, Ministerial employees of the Australia Mission, Mission Centre Recorder, Mission Centre Historian, Mission Presidency, Mission Centre Bishopric, Mission members of the Mission Centre Council, Board members of Saints Care Ltd, and Community of Christ Ltd, members of the Australia Investment Committee, members of the Australia Earth Stewardship Team, members of the Tiona Management Committee and Staff.

AMC General and Non-Resident members will have an opportunity to self-nominate from the conference floor; and be added to the credentials report, with the approval of the Mission Centre President.
