Global Challenges Series begins for 2022

Doughnut Economy a Prophetic Response & Workbook for a Better World: Implementing Doughnut Economics in your Community

Sunday 20th February 2022 @ 3:00pm (AEDT)

Presented by Michael de Mol & Dr Linda Hazell

Doughnut Economics as a concept was proposed by Kate Raworth of Oxford University. It proposes that economic success must be found within the limits of planetary boundaries and social wellbeing for all of humanity.  In this presentation and workshop, we will provide resources to enable individuals and groups to make realistic steps towards this ideal in their own community.

About the presenters:

Michael is close to finishing a Bachelor of Sustainability with the University of New England, Armidale and has assisted with environmental science research for 30 years through the University of NSW, Sydney.

Linda is part of the Australian Earth Stewardship Team for Community of Christ and has participated in bush regeneration projects, community development projects, and serves as Pastor of the Three Rivers Congregation on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
