The vision for the garden is as an opportunity for sharing with the community. Community Gardens are being promoted widely because their proven benefits in many areas including poverty, loneliness, our fragile global environment etc. All are welcome.
And, like the garden, the list of activities keeps growing: this year Bendigo have started a Pop Up Op Shop, with a wide range of items for sale including plants, books, DVDs as well as women’s, men’s and children's clothing! As with all our congregations across Australia precautions are in place (including some suspension of worships and activities) in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation, to allow for appropriate social distancing guidelines to be followed. This situation is being monitored and our response adjusted accordingly as things unfold.
