What a joy it was to gather as a community of faith at Kallara!

Our weekend was blessed with grace filled moments. Children playing games and painting murals; youth and young adults baking and building community; adults learning and discussing matters of the Spirit. The ‘good old days’ were experienced in the present tense, with the sounds of people connecting as community, which was exactly our theme, a connected community.

The value of each other was our central discussion point, in that being ‘independent’ might have become overrated. Autumnal weather filled our souls with cool dew in the morning, and warm sunshine all day – the perfect atmosphere for any activity! As our weekend rounded out, friendships were most definitely strengthened as we return our focus to connecting as a community in our own environments back home. Cups overflowing, I give thanks for that experience.
