I am delighted to announce that the Mission Centre will be hosting Dr Matt Frizzell for a two week visit at the end of October. Matt currently serves as Denominational Administrator, Community of Christ, Chicago, where he leads a team of Human Resource professionals serving approximately 200 ministers across the U.S.A. and in twenty countries in Africa, Latin America, and Europe. He was formerly the Dean of the church seminary, and before that, campus minister at Graceland University. I served with Matt on the Standing High Council a decade ago.

Matt arrives on October 25. He will participate in WoW Weekend of Wellbeing (Sydney) in the last weekend of October. He will travel north with me. We will have a short visit to Newcastle and then on to Tiona and to Tuncurry. Following a flying visit to Maroochydore, Qld, we will drive via Canberra to Bendigo and Melbourne. On the second weekend of November at Frankston we have a focus on Victorian mission and purpose. Matt leaves on November 11 from Melbourne.

  I am putting together a travel schedule and will be in touch with anyone who would like to convene a meeting with Matt during that time. Suggestions are welcome on the subject of leadership training, theology, ethics, and the future of the church. Await final details in due course.
