To keep pace with these changing times, and in prayerful response to the needs of the Australia church, the Australia Mission Centre identified the need for some changes to our resourcing. As such, recruitment has commenced for three new roles*; click the links to find out more about the positions:
Mission President - apply by close of business, Monday 13th May*
The changes will:
Allow for better governance and oversight as well as a separation of Board and Management functions being held by individual positions/people (as identified in Mission Centre reviews in 2008 and 2016 both formally recommended change to the AMC structure)
Better manage human resources: Less available time from volunteers in particular areas of need
Address compliance needs which have significantly increased from Government
Provide increased and specific congregational support: Feedback from congregations and leaders that they are not feeling supported at times
Manage staff load: significant workload issues within AMC leadership positions
