Dear Friends,

I write to invite you to Mission Centre Conference 2021.

Conference will be a little different this year as we adjust the way we meet to allow for forward planning and safety. The challenges thrown up by Covid have offered many fresh possibilities as we look for new and different ways to do things; this year we will have the exciting opportunity to be together without the limitations posed by physical travel. Rather than meeting in one place, we will meet in many – anywhere and everywhere, in homes and buildings around Australia.

This year, we come together in a different way, however, our hope is that we will still realise this significant event in the life of the church: a celebration of what it means to be Community of Christ, ever following where Good Spirit is leading us.

This year’s conference will be an online experience, starting with a worship on Sunday May 30 and concluding on Sunday June 6 with communion worship in the morning and campfire in the evening.

There will be a business session on Saturday June 5, the deadline for business/legislation is the April 9.

Throughout the week, in the middle, there will be opportunities for workshops, pre-legislative sessions, spiritual practices etc. We look forward to sharing a more detailed program with you in due course.
