Applications are available, for interested persons, to be considered as staff for IYF & SPEC 2021

By applying to be staff for the Australian Delegation you are committing to monthly meetings up to 12 months before the event, involvement in and planning of fundraising activities, travel with the delegation to and from the event (18th July- 4th August, 2021) and to continue to be a role model and friend after the event, as the bonds you create on this trip will last a life time.

Responsibilities of staff:

Organising local pre and post-IYF events, pre & post event booklets
Participating in fundraisers

Co-ordinating worships and night time devotions
Leading small group sessions at IYF & SPEC Today classes
Sports coaching at SPEC
Liaise with host families, where you may be the primary supervising adult
Communicating with other delegation leaders
Bringing energy, enthusiasm and compassion to exhausted youth
Be aware of camper needs
Laundry duty at SPEC
Being responsible for the safety of all participants, especially in transit

It is mandatory that all staff are registered Child & Youth workers with Community of Christ.

First Aid certification is desired but not required.

Staff registration fee: $500.00

Applicants will be selected by the Delegation Leader in consultation with the Mission Centre President in the weeks following the application deadline.
