Hello Friends,

By now you are probably looking at your calendar, thinking "WOW it is almost the 1st December"... and that means the window for accommodation booking OPENS at Tiona for Easter long weekend. 

Unless you are keen to camp- You need to book your accommodation on the 1st December as we understand the accommodation will go very quickly (like set an alarm for 8am to be sure you get the accommodation you desire!) https://www.tiona.com.au 

For those keen to camp, we plan to book the north side lakeside camping (think old basketball court area) and turn that into our retreat "tent city". You will be able to book these sites through us over the coming days and weeks.

We have attached a DRAFT program, so you have a "vibe" for what we have planned for the GET CONNECTED retreat at Tiona over Easter. 

As we have indicated, it looks highly unlikely we are going to be able to get the conference centre for exclusive use, so we have developed a program that is flexible and maximises the beautiful environment, but we will also be booking a few extra tent sites to use as a "hub" for meeting and gathering under a shade cloth (or three). 

This also means we are likely to have "self-catering" for this retreat rather than an organised paid caterer and the conference centre to meet in for meals, however we do plan to have a few retreat meals together for social reasons (just not 3 a day!).

The Green Cathedral congregation host both a Good Friday and an Easter Sunday service which we have included in the program for us to attend. 

We have looked up low tide to time the best (easiest) beach walks and left time available in the program so we can enjoy a nice hard sand walk to Booti or over to Elizabeth beach for the fit and willing.

However, we have a special treat of an activity lined up for you all. We have secured the very talented Lara Went, contemporary aboriginal artist, business owner of Yukual Art and local Worimi woman to lead us in a group creative activity on Saturday. 

So with all these great activities and spiritual opportunities, all we need now is YOU and we can GET CONNECTED with one another, with nature and with God. 

Very much looking forward to seeing you there- for now, BOOK ACCOMMODATION and stay tuned for more details as the program moves from draft to finalised.
